Description:
The monoclonal antibody to mouse LTR is an
agonist that can be used for the investigation of
the regulation of BAFF(BlyS), chemokines and
integrins using in vivo and tissue culture models,
the development of NK cells, and NK T cells, to
study the regulation of NF-B family of
transcription factors in regulation of inflammation
and homeostasis, particularly ReIB NF-B2
pathway.
Specificity:
Recognizes mouse LTR
Species Reactivity:
Mouse. Other species not tested.
Isotype:
Rat IgG2a
Immunogen:
Recombinant mouse LTR cysteine-rich region
(aa 31-221).
Format:
100 μg of liquid monoclonal antibody at 1 mg/mL
in PBS.
Purity:
98 as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term and at -20°C long term.
Aliquot to avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Applications:
Flow cytometry
Functional application: Agonist inducing
BAFF, chemokines and integrins in vitro and
in vivo. Add to cell cultures at 2 μg/mL. For
in vivo use, mice are injected
intraperitoneally with 50 μg/mL of antibody
clone 4H8 WH2 in sterile phosphate saline.
The researcher should determine the optimal
dilution for a specific application.

Method: NIH3T3 cells were stained with isotype control
(black line) or monoclonal antibody to LTbR (MC-566) (green
line) at 1 μg/mL, detected by goat anti rat IgG PE-conjugated
secondary antibody and analyzed by flow cytometry.
